You know you are getting old when:

He under me, classmate of my Grandma, generation 1935, is still active as best as possible.
Half-blind, but the needed household stuff can be done. His wife is maybe same age, but in much worse condition and on crutches. Grocery shopping with rollators is done by both. Also receiving daily mobile medical care.

But I didn't expect them to reach year 2025 in our classic apartment block without elevator.

But aside of that, I got nearly no business with them and avoid them. Small helps when we encounter, but that's it. People, you don't want to become friends with. And they stopped learning new stuff probably 70 years ago. Classic boneheads.

Old folks often say, the time runs faster, the older you get.

But when I think about it, my time from 20 to 30 ran same fast as 30 to 40. When I reached 20, time was accelerating enormous, for whatever reason.
I mean, personal things went a little better from late 2004 on, but not that much.

So I still think, the "point of acceleration" could be very differrent?
