This is a Y'2 indigo-dyed horsehide leather jacket, made in Japan. The horsehide was specially dyed with indigo and the leather has faded with time and wear like indigo-dyed selvedge denim. The quality of the leather and the stitching is superb. The jacket has aged with beauty and grace and is as tough as ever - no issues at all with the stitching, the hardware, the pockets. The stout cotton / linen liner shows gentle fading but remains clean and stable. This is tagged as size 44 but it fits like a men's 42. Amazing jacket, very hard to find and you never see them with such nice fading. This is a tad large on me (I'm more a true 40 but was dearly hoping I could make this work). Chest (pit to pit) is 22 inches. Sleeve = 25.25 inches. Shoulder = 19 inches. Rear length from bottom of collar seam to bottom edge of jacket = 25 inches.
Let me know if you have any questions. Happy to provide additional photos or measurements to help you decide if this is a good jacket for you. Just let me know what you'd like to see!
$1,250 (or best offer) paypal (f&f) includes USPS Priority shipping, tracking, and insurance CONUS.
