WWII Reenactments

Okay, here we go:
I'm heading back to New Mexico soon so I'm trying to find a place that holds WWII reenactments in California, preferably in the southern portion if they at all exist down here. I've tried Google (was unable to find much) and the FL search, although I'm sure it's floating around here somewhere.

I suppose if they hold them in New Mexico and you happen to know where that too would be helpful. I found one hit that popped up in Albuquerque.

So my question is do you know of any and if you have attended or happen to be apart of a group did/do you enjoy it?

I had gone to that site but I didn't see the "Upcoming Events" link until I went back. Thank you very much.

I'm still interested in other groups and people's reactions to the reenactors/actments

Thank you for the link, I'll have to bookmark it and keep checking back. There's nothing in my states right now but who knows when something may pop up.

Years ago we used to "play" up around Big Bear it was usually a winter battle
and we used to go just north of San Diego. The CHG is about your best bet that is what I used to belong to. When you do check see what the "Germans" are doing they always seemed more organized. The Allied units are always coming and going but the Krauts are pretty stable.

Steve Fredrick with the 12thSS has worked out an arrangement with the promoter to allow the CHG to bring two halftracks, one German and One Allied, plus the potential for a few Jeeps. The gameplan is to have "coverage" for both days. With various units/members signing up for individual time slots. They are looking for dedicated reenactors to man the display area, answer questions, pass out flyers etc.

The Russian units also have female combat roles if that is what you are looking for.

Also there are several Colorado and Arizonia reenactors working on an even at Camp Navajo next April.

And next November there are plans for the 2nd Annual WCR (West Coast Regional) at Camp Roberts
