If you can listen now or later to the Allison Ferns lunch time show broadcast today 19/11/19. It started at 12.00 noon on BBC Radio Sussex and Surrey, do so. It features the subject of this topic, Breaking Wind. It is because a loud one is heard on a US TV or Radio show. It is being discussed in a light hearted way.

I’m afraid I missed it! I never listen to local radio these days as it’s become so tacky. I liked LBC before it became a shock jock station.

There was a headline this morning (17 Dec.) about public prosecutors in Warsaw investigating whether the chief of police fired a grenade launcher (given to him in Ukraine) accidentally in his office.

The Polish prosecutor’s office said that it was investigating “an act consisting of unintentionally causing a violent release of energy …”

Surely there can be no better description of a fart than this.
