I have one of those repro Crosley radios and would love to find a CD that had a well organized compilation of news, music, and commercials from the Golden Era so I could run it through the radio and relax in the Golden Era ambiance.
I'm not too .wav or computer music savvy so I really don't know how to even make one myself. I'm sure there are a zillion resouces out there but it'd possibly be easier for me to just buy one from somebody.
I'm the kind of guy who can dress in my WWII khakis, sit in Grandma's chair, surround myself with Golden Era items and relax and relieve the stressors of this post 1940s life. If I had the music coming from a period style radio instead of from a hidden 21st centry sound device it'd be perfect. I don't need "Calgon, Take Me Away", I just need Golden Era Music!
I'd love to have something similar to a series of daily broadcasts just like it was then.
Dismuke has a great Live 365 broadcast but I need to pipe it into my Crosley. I can't record computer music streams.
Any suggestions?
