There is a WW2 RAF OA Service Dress Uniform (1941 dated 'Airman's Simplified') on a market stall in the regular Saturday outdoor market at Leek, Staffordshire, for anyone who can get there. The jacket is generally good condition, but has one cigarette burn on the skirt. This is covered when it is fastened and it could easily be repaired. The trousers are in great condition.
The stall-holder is asking 80GBP, and will probably settle for 70. It has been there every week for a month, so he seems to be having trouble shifting it. I recently bought from him an almost identical SD uniform, but postwar, for 40 GBP. These are well below WWW or big city prices. It pays to travel (particularly with a free 'bus pass).
