WTD - Goodwear or Eastman A2 40/42

Well i find myself without an A2... i'd like to correct that asap

I'd like a nice Goodwear or original maker Eastman, open to ideas on contract but the size is important... i'm after a P2P of around 22" and a back length of 26"... roughly. Usually equates to a 42 L or similar.

oh and if anyone here bought that 42l Goodwear star from a little while back, do get in touch. I'm still kicking myself for not snapping it up.

things move quick round here, allusive correct sized A2 still alluding me….

I would recommend Good wear Doniger size 42 should fit but check John's measurements section,i'm Size 40 in most Eastman A2's 42 in Good wear Doniger but 46 in good wear Werber 39,hope that a help,sizing can be nightmare!

Owned Eastman Monarch and I was size 42,but 40 to snug.

I'v had one of Johns Werbers labled a 44 (made to measure) and an Eastman Star in a 42L, I'm almost certainly a 42L but GW tagged sizes can be a bit all over the place… still looking guys.

Both Gary and John very helpful on sizing Jackets so good luck on your hunt for the right jacket i'm sure it's out there.

Took me many years to get that perfect fit for me,many mistakes,but now i've fine tuned it down to 5 good fitting A2's and just one that's to big and in classified section for sale.

I went through spell of that,once owned a great G1 jacket collection now not got one left,biggest mistake sold mint original Doniger A2 size 42 but sold it to soon.

How about a Real McCoy A-2 Rough Wear model? I'm gonna sell mine soon as I don't wear it often, is a size 40 but roomier, I normally wear size 40 but I reckon it would fit better as a trimmer 42.
Let me know if interested and I'll send pics.
