WTB: Suede type III trucker

Those buttons made me laugh out loud!

Maybe it’s just my lot in vintage suede. All m suede jackets have had those dumb ass buttons!

Yeah but I hate those type buttons! They are just begging to fall off. I actually ordered a set of metal riveted to replace them at the same time. So now I just have to wait for the jacket not to fit to complete the fail. LOL.

I bought this a year ago or so for my 17 year old daughter who is a denim/cord Levi trucker fan.

Size "L" , same as the truckers she wears already. Made in Australia by Frantik in the 70's. LONG GONE

When it arrives it fits me ?WTF ? I wear it on the bike as it is very lightly lined , and on HOT days here is fine on the move.

I am an off the shelf guy in Schott and Vanson 44". Not selling the jacket just introducing it to the thread.

I’ve seen a bunch of those, and the ones with the fringe bits...but I’m holding out for a true type III. Already resigned to a long haul search. Especially b/c I want something vintage. With a big ass collar just like the one you linked.

I decided to buckle down. Strap myself in and wait for it. This is my end game jacket. No rush (already did that). I’ll wait. Then I’ll tend to my 40 acres and a mule.

*until the next (God knows what) comes along and ruins my serenity.

I know, I know...nevertheless, as the title states I’m looking for a (preferably) vintage suede type III. Schott, Levi’s or whoever. If you’ve got one in a 42”-44” I’m all ears. Looking for tan or dark brown.
