I'm in the market for a lightweight suit/sport jacket. Linen, seersucker, madras etc. Particularly '30s-early '60s or any repro '30s style. I wear a 37-38R. Belt backs or fancy front pockets a plus. If interested in a trade, I have a pair of mint condition never worn light blue 1950's summer weight slacks.

Hello. Not sure you would be really interested but I will take some pictures later....my Husband has one sports jacket that is a light weight blue (light blue color as well). I have no clue what the material is, but guess a silk and wool blend. The jacket is a very sharp looking one, but too small for him to wear. It just sits in the closet all alone....lol!

Oh yes, also he has a great white dress shirt needing a good home as well. The shirt is also just too small. It is not vintage but about one of the nicer dress shirts and materials you can ever find....when new the shirt was $390.00. It is french cuff and the material has very small diamonds that sort of "puff" out of the material. I think it is marked a 16 collar but really is closer to a 15 1/2 and the sleeve length is 34. The brand name is Lorenzini, Italy. Nice white shirt can be used for a jacket or suit. I'll take some pictures and post them later. I would about bet you will like both of these and the Jacket is vintage but not from 1940's or even 1950's.

Pictures of the jacket would be great! Shirts sound nice but are a tad too big for me.

My Husband stated to me, this is from the 1950's, but not your typical thin lapel sports coat. This is a atomic fleck material, not heavily done, and a summer weight. It has more than likely never been worn, and the pockets on the sides are still sewn shut.

Color is hard to pick up with my cell camera....but it falls between the two colors showing in these pictures....even outside the color just did not pick up right.

But this is falling between a regular size 37 and 38. Just way too small for my Husband. When this was first purchased, it looked like it would fit but never tried on. Willing to part with this for a song and a dance (and a few bucks, too)! Say around $30.00 shipped?

It is in like new/new condition. Not one single issue with it any where, and it is fully lined. Looks lifeless on the hanger, but it actually is "cut" very nicely and as the hanger is too wide, it does not allow this to drape properly for the pictures.

I would call the blue a cross between sky blue and slate blue.

My Husband stated that if this jacket fit and was not too small, he would never sell or trade it, very nice looking jacket.
