WTB: Irvin (preferably cheapo), sz. 40-ish

Does anyone, by any chance, have a cheapo Irvin? You know, one of those 80's knockoffs the European market was flooded with. Or anything Irvin just as long as it's not too high end and therefore expensive?

The cold is killing me and I need something warm. But I'd really prefer the Irvin - I have a B-3 that's warm and all but I'm just not a fan so I'm looking to replace it with a RAF flight jacket.

There are some on eBay but the sellers either won't ship internationally or the size doesn't work for me.

Don't care about the condition as long as the jacket is wearable, properly warm and the fur isn't falling off. And doesn't stink. I plan on wearing it whenever the weather will allow so...

If you got one you don't love no more, drop me a PM or something. I mean, lemme know even if you have something good in that size. I can always sell some jackets so it won't feel I'm wasting money on more...

Thank you and cheers!

Very supple & warm. Sleeves are not crazy long like the original photos, so you can still drive.

Regis - post some measurements and a price. I'll bet it will sell. I would wonder it but I might need a 46 so there is some room.

Wear that B3 underneath, & cover it with the Irvin! Two birds one stone, warmth & look

Alright, I'm back and didn't surprise something of this magnitude to turn up this quick. I love the shade and especially the wool on both jackets, Regius' and one in the eBay link. Much nicer than the regular stuff. The B3 I have right now is gigantic so let's hope this one is at least a bit smaller. Thanks guys!!

Sheepskin jackets have shot up in price in recent years; a decade ago, they were about £500, now you're looking nearer £800 for an ELC, Aero or one from one of the smaller outfits. It used to be that you could buy one of the inaccurate, civilian versions from ALC or Cirrus well cheap second hand (GBP200ish, just as good, quality garment wise, but very poor in the reproduction stakes), but those days seem to be over now. The WPG seems to be a very competitive option out there, and captures all the key elements of the style, even if some small details are off, like zippers. It's what I would recommend - indeed, though I do have an Eastman 42 pattern (still in fairly good overall shape, though the cuff ends have balded with wear!), I've actually also considered one of the WPG jackets as a second, affordable day to day wearer.

Sizewise, though I bought the 'right' size the last time, these days I rather like the look of Irvins sized up one, so they have that just very slightly-big look, as seen on a lot of pilots back in the day.
