Blackadder, thank you for this!! Seriously, you're a life saver! I couldn't even figure out what part of the... listing title stands for jacket. I was trying to find a repeating pattern but it's all Greek to me. Except I'd understand Greek. I guess I'm just too old for this stuff. XD The leather bit works like a charm. For example, typing in Brooks and 革 makes some wonderful jackets pop up. At least I'm no longer getting bicycle seats and sneakers. They're all quite small, though.

I guess in your case, it is to narrow the search. The Japanese do like to use their Japanese character pronunciation of the English brand name in stead of typing the actual English Brand name. It is usually the first few characters of the heading e.g.
ショット is how they pronounce Shot i.e. Schott.
So if you search ショット, there are likely more Schott items than simply typing Schott.
