WTB: Brown Horsebutt Engineer Boots Size 9

Howdy,

I am interested in purchasing some brown Horsebutt Engineer Boots, preferably with Brass hardware.

I am a 9.5D brannock and a 9 in the usual suspects.

My ideal boot is the new Rolling Dub Trio Engineer II in Brown as I love the brass and overall shape of the last. Not too rounded of a toe. Unfortunately they sold out in-store before I could snag one online.

Interested in Attractions 444 or 602, Wesco Mr. Lou, Clinch, Role Club, and the like. Flexible budget depending on the offering.

My current game plan is to get an Attractions Biltbuck Lot 444 and swap the hardware at a tailor.

Open to recommendations or discussion, it looks like Brown doesn't get as much love as black in the Engineer boot space.

Thanks!

They are gorgeous and I have been considering them.
Those are gorgeous boots! I just messaged OP about sizing, which is my main concern. I’m definitely interested. That is up my alley for sure. I’m just worried they might be too large. Appreciate you passing along the post

I have a pair of clinch dark brown horsebutt engineers getting re-lasted by brass tokyo themselves. They used to be a cn-wide hardly worn and the instep + heel were just a tad wide for me.

I couldn't get proper sizing guidance from them without physically being in their shop but they said the closest thing to my feet measurements is size US 9 on CN standard. They should be done by next month. But if im still having fit issues on the heel (i have a skinny heel) then I will let them go.

Hi Phili, thanks for reaching out. Please do keep me in mind if you're still having issues. I'd love to have first crack at them.

Will do. But just to be transparent I did pay for two procedures including the re-last.

Dark brown overdye by Unsung - $200 ish all in
Brass Tokyo relast - likely going to come out to $450-$500 all in

The boots themselves I paid $1930.

If they don’t work out for me I’ll take a slight loss and let em go for a bit less than what I paid total

Hey man — saw your WTB for brown horsebutt engineers. Mine aren’t the exact spec you asked for since they’re black with nickel hardware, but I figured I’d send them over because the sizing might be right for you and they’re in the same general tier you’re looking at. Addict AB-01HB-CL, 9H / US 9.5, narrow CL last, horsebutt, Vibram half soles. No pressure at all if you’re set on brown/brass.
