Thanks Kowalski!
Those look really nice! I wonder what they look like in real life?
They aren't listed on the website, and there's no fit pics. How are people supposed to buy one?
We have members in HK I think. I wonder if they've come across this brand?

Check their instagram for fit pictures, there are some. They have an a-1 too and I think they were offered for pre/order a couple of months ago with sizing and details on the website too.
Workware have a couple of stores in HK and make some nice repro stuff.

Yes, Workware is a Hong Kong company.

I went to WW’s flagship store and saw their A-2 jackets in the flesh. It was reasonably nice, but WW’s horsehide was just too soft and shinny for my liking. And WW only offered it in size 36-40.

It sat at the price range of Aero Leather’s A-2. But you could have your A-2 jacket customised with Aero Leather.

I follow them on IG and for the most part they seem to do a good job but have never experienced anything in person and once in awhile they tweak cuts in an odd way?

Leather used are very similar to those used on Taobao's USD 100-200 range leather jacket. Very likely the same factory too. Sort of like upholstery leather.

Not impressed at all by any of their products. Poor materials and quite expensive. They used to have sales and VIP discounts every month to keep the stock moving. They used to carry Bill Kelso's A-2 a few years back and I guess they figure they can charge a slightly less price and substitute BK's with their own Taobao A-2 to get a much better profit margin.
I'd rather go straight to Taobao for an "Universal" 環球 or a Risk Rider A-2 for better quality or to Bronson for similar quality but much cheaper price.

I've seen a batch of their type 1 tanker jackets with the sergeant chevron, a copy of Brad Pitt's Fury jacket. It is rather apparent that the black on the chevron got transferred onto the yellow/gold part on all the jackets that were displayed on the rack (around 6-7 there at the time). Those are not deliberately distressed. They did not carry any distressed or washed tanker jackets then.
We have a saying over here that may be translated to something like "Taobao quality". I am not bashing chinese manufacturers or Taobao. That term actually refers to those small scale factory selling pirated goods with little regards to quality on Taobao and does not refer to all Taobao's shops. There are some high end dealers like Dr Cowboy and some very nice small workshops like Bronson and Bob Dong that sell on Taobao.
Workwear has another shop called Goldyard that carries other brands like TCB jeans etc.

Well done guys! Thanks for the information! I reckoned that some of you would know the score. That's really interesting.
Looking at the sizes (alas, too small for me). But it's nice to see that there are other manufactures out there. I wonder if they'll be able to catch up in terms of quality with the Japanese?

WW is more on the fashion side than repro side. I would call their products a vintage-inspired fashion.

WW used to offer a USN N-1 jacket a few years ago. While the real-deal had alpaca lining, WW's N-1 came with synthetic fiber lining. And yet they still charged like HKD 2K (around USD 256) each. At this price range I wasn't happy with it at all. At The Front charges much less for that.

I only bought two pants from WW during their end-of-season clearance sales, when they slashed the price on their pants from USD 88 to USD 32 each. USD 32 per pair? It's a deal good enough. USD 88 per pair? I would go with Buzz Rickson.

To be fair, my WW pants were better made than Uniqlo's. But at their normal price range, I could always get a better product elsewhere.
