A trench (i think burberry?) That used to be my Grandma's. It's surprisingly warm! I always get comments about how I look like I'm in Casablanca when I wear it

I much prefer Anachronism's photo. And a Tom Waits fan, as well!

For casual winter wear, nothing beats a vintage Navy issue peacoat. When temps get in the upper thirties or low forties, time to bring it out. At temperatures below freezing add a sweater to fight the extra chill. My favorite, hands down. But then that isn't so surprising.

VM, that's a great looking coat, like it a lot!

I vary in the Winter, though at present it's mostly either a traditional overcoat (if in a suit or blazer), or my LW B-3 (over either a casual shirt and jeans for a really casual rockabilly look, or for workwear / going out, over a shirt & tie, trousers, and often a waistcoat.

-1 with wind chill?

...Elstermode (Germany) police double-breasted reefer/peacoat with a 300-weight fleece jacket under it. Definitely cold proof.
More important, my five-dollar neck gaiter that covers my throat/face/ears. It's been really cold and exposed flesh is quickly affected.
(Apologies to our even colder friends in the Dakotas and the upper Midwest: I must sound like a weed/wimp)
