No kudos to Lancealot, who has inexplicably been sitting on the blasted thing, ignoring PM's, (though visiting here) and stopping the project dead since APRIL of what is about to be last year.

Lancealot: Please live up to your pen name and show some chivalry here.

I for one want to see this hat moving, rather than folk just 'sitting' on it.

The responsibility to keep this moving is with each recipiant, and this is done on "trust."
So, please do not abuse this 'trust' by holding onto this item that is on loan, because there are many of us here who 'eventually' want to get hold of it before we grow too old, get the photos snapped and keep it rolling around the world.

Kindly liaise with the appropriate Bartender who has been in contact with you so that 'you' can arrange the safe and immediate continuation of the hat's journey to it's next custodian.

I propose the following:

If the women finish the hat exchange BEFORE the fellas, someone, sometime, somewhere owes me a drink or a personal shopping escort to a cool store in their town.

If the fellas finish the hat exchange BEFORE the ladies, I owe someone, sometime, somewhere a drink OR a personal men's item from my secret stash. Winner determined by drawing of all men who participated.

How did it all start

For us newbies here, how about a little background on this globe trotting hat, and what has become of if it. I see it was last seen in Greer, SC. Thats about a ten minute drive from the house.

The History.

It would really be nice to see this project get a kick start back to life. Also, remember that there was a journal with pictures traveling with the hat. I enjoyed the hand-offs when the hat came my way last year. It provided two interesting opportunities to meet fellow Loungers.

Or a posse of FL Untouchables in 'that area' to knock on this fella's door and shame him into handing the hat over for it to continue :eusa_clap What a crazy set of affairs just because 'one guy' cannot be bothered to do his bit of the bargain and hand the hat onwards...
