Well I don't know about you guys but I think boaters are cool! Really cool and they're even cooler when they're found in unique weaves. Sadly most of the unique weaves made for this, already fragile hat, are even more fragile! Well I lucked out with this one. The band is cool, it doesn't look like it's in perfect shape but it's my size and darn it... it was at a good price so...

I am with you. It kinda reminds me of hats from the Carribian Islands, and sitting on a beach sipping some cold drinks with the little umbrellas. I think Pierce Brosson had one in The Thomas Crown Affair. Anyhow, hope you get it my friend.

That's a great hat. The ribbon is unique, but what I really
love is the "radio wave" stitch. That sort of "radio era" design
is so wonderful. Congrats.

Size 7? $12? You really cannot go wrong for that price and that style. Those hats always reminded me more of wicker than straw though.

That style is very old. Say, between 1900 and 1920. In fact, it predates radio itself!
