I love drive-in movie theatres, and since many of them are named the Skyview/Skyvue, I chose this as my online handle more than fifteen years ago.

I use it everywhere, so if you encounter another Skyvue online, there's a reasonably good chance that it's me.

Mine is short for Jenny the shirt. Twas a nickname back in the day given to me by 2 different fellas at around the same time. Apparently I looked pretty good in a particular shirt. For some reason it stuck and I liked that it sounded like a mob name or that I was referring to myself as the S$#!. Besides my other nickname is Gigantor. I think I'd rather be referred to as that rather than a huge animated figure.

zaika is russian for rabbit...or bunny, i guess. my russian speaking american friends and i came up with nicknames one day many years ago. one was "yozhka" (or hedgehog), another "cheburashka" (the name of the sweetest little cartoon character ever). i called dibs on "zaika." i used that pretty much everywhere online since it's easy to type and remember. those who know me think that it's appropriate. [huh]

From the "Back to the Future" movies. I'm sure you all know but it was the name of the Delorean's power source at the end of the first movie and through the other two.
I've always been interested in time travel theories which I guess is tied into my love of vintage stuff. (ever stared at an old house and just wondered what people wore when it was built, what they drove and how they celebrated holidays?) I know, kinda corny.[huh]

Mine is a character from a Vladimir Nabokov novel.

She's not very nice really, but the novel was set in the early 20th century and I had just finished it when I joined the lounge, so it was in my head.

She has an affair with her brother. [huh]

It's an evolution of a handle I've been using for years. Aquatic-sounding because my primary hobby is scuba diving. My first choice was "brinydeep", but so many others used it as a handle when I tried to register on various forums such as Yahoo, et al, that I went with "brinysea". I used that for years until I went to register it as a domain, and found that "brinysea" was taken. The registrar came up with several other combinations, Brinybay was one of them.

I thought the name of the movie was cool when I first heard it, I didn't care much for the movie, and......

I'm not sure ... 17-ish years ago I started using "Hamlet" with my initials for e-mails and user names. I suppose, as a 12 year old, it just sounded intellectual to be a Shakespeare character.

When dating my wife, she took on the burden of being Ophelia ... so it has just stuck.

Long shelf life for a pseudonym a 12 year old geek thought intellectual.

Mine is my maiden name and 'gal'. Not terribly original, I fear! But I miss having my last name...my married name is so, well, generic.:D

My first name, which I forgot to capitalize when I signed up, for some reason no one ever calls me Pat, and my birth year. I think someone else already used the name Patrick when I signed up [huh] so I added 1987 on there.

Since it took 3 tries for me to get signed on to the Lounge (but worth the wait, thanks again to MK) this user name was my 3rd pick but I think my favorite. It is my all-time favorite popular song. Perry Como does a nice version of Begin the Beguine as well as Michael Nesmith, of all people.

I love that tune as well. Chet Atkins gave it a nice go on an early 60s lp when he first started doing nylon string guitar records.

I am a backpacker and it came from one of my trail mates. We hike the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and usually hike in groups of three or four and I am usually a little farther ahead of everyone. Every so often I will get a good ten minutes or so in front of the group. One of these hikes I sat down for a break and about 15 minutes later other guys show up and one say I took off up the mountain like a goat. My first name being William so Willi Goat became my trail name. About half the people at work know me by Willi Goat or just Goat.

hah! How freaky deaky!

Mine is NOT the 'prettiest girl of all time". Twas hung on me by a fellow capricorn girlfriend many moons ago. My name is phil; philly goat instead of billy goat, shortened to pgoat.

I used to mountain bike a lot but I am anything but a mountain goat. I can go a little fast on a flat sprint but once gravity comes into things I move like paint drying.
