well MCRD in San Diego is pretty nice year round
Here in TN the leaves are just beginning to change...and the temp is dropping. We were at 80 today...supposed to be 60 tomorrow...time to call the gas company and have them fill the tank for the winter so I can have my fires

I'd make it Orlando, with a DoD-paid week off to live it up at Disney World, Universal and the other sights upon completion of Basic. Kind of a "you made it, we're gonna give you a breather before the really hard stuff" sorta thing.

Seen and raised, Mr. Powers...

I have no problem with that location.
