We're both a bit sardonic, so "our" song is......

"You Can Leave Your Hat On", by Joe Cocker.

Seriously.

(like the way i worked "hat" into the thread? do ya? ;) )

I would thought it would have been "Someone to WATCH Over Me" !!!!lol

For my wife and I, its "Smile, Darn Ya, Smile! " as performed by Billy Cotton and his band. We even used it as the recessional at our wedding.

Haversack.

Years ago my wife and I first danced to Color My World by Chicago.
It ended up being our wedding song and we smile whenever we hear it, although we haven't heard it played in a while.
When my daughter Michelle was born I was leaving the hospital in the morning to do the cigar run and the first song I heard on the radio was Michelle My Belle by the Beatles. It's been a special song for me too for quite a while.

We have three favorites

"I've Got you under my skin" Sinatra and Count Basie Live at the Sands version
and
"Have I told you lately that I love you" Van Morrison and the Chieftains
and
"What a wonderful world/Somewhere over the rainbow" Israel Kamakawiwo'ole

Embarrassed to admit it, but ...

"Love Will Keep Us Together" by The Captain & Tennille. Hey, it was 1975 - what can I say.

"Hit the Road, Jack."

Since Jack hit the road, there have been two other guys I liked but never got together with. "Knock me a Kiss" reminds me of one; "Jimmy Mack" and "You Got What it Takes" reminds me of the other.
