Yea true and you have to click the image I think to make it bigger
Confirms my initial suggestiion....an inexpensive stingy with the brim turned down all the way around to affect a 'bucket hat' look or a slightly dressier version of the English tweed walking hat. Hard to see the ribbon work with the blur but it too looks to be inexpensive.

Hello I’m new to this forum...I am very much into hats, I used to be into baseball hats but grew into fedoras like a couple years ago and never went back...I’ve seen a lot of nice looking fedoras but this one is unique and was wondering what type it was and if there’s a hat that’s out there that looks similar...any help will be appreciated thanks

Here is a link to accurate descriptions of the fedora and a trilby “stingy brim”. The two often get confused but they are very different hats.

Low crown stingy brim with the brim down. Not a look we see around here very often. Lots of inexpensive hats can give you this look.
Thanks for your help...I decided I probably won’t get this hat cuz I normally wear fedoras with at least 2’ brim...I think the stingy is gonna look too small on my head cuz I got long hair

Hi
Sounds like a good call. I let my hair grow out for the 19 and I had to stretch my hats. First of all, I don't think I look good in anything under a 2.5 inch brim so I'm against them anyway. Secondly, big hair almost certainly needs a big big brim. I also say a big crown with very little taper.

Check out Joao Encarnado who's a member, Joao is famous for not liking stingy brims. Also look up pictures of William Golden of the Oak Ridge Boys. He buy's hats from Buckaroo Hatters in Covington TN.

Hope this all helps.
