I double dip chicken fried steak, too.

The chicken parm was so good hubby put that in the top 10 meals I've ever made for him. Considering we've been together for almost 10 years and I cook almost every night, I'd say that was a pretty good meal!

We're on the West coast, so dinner's not for a while. Hubby asked if I was serving drinks with it. He'll have to make do with a Modelo Especial.

That beer is make doable. I have some here for just such an emergency.

I have never tried it that way so I have no idea either.

Braised cabbage with carrots, onions, garlic, ginger, jalapeños, and hamburger meat, seasoned with honey, lemon juice, soy sauce, and sriracha. Served over basmati rice (imported from the foothills of the Himalayas) and a generous helping of more sriracha sauce.

Slow cooked Asian pork ribs (trying this recipe: http://www.thecrepesofwrath.com/2013/11/13/crock-pot-asian-style-ribs/), sticky rice and steamed broccoli.

Definitely a keeper. Did juice of 1 orange (called for half), 2x the ginger, and a whole onion, but other than that I followed the recipe. Really nice flavor.

Pan seared salmon (in a spicy sweet/sour marinade), Thai seasoned rice noodles, spinach.

We really, really liked the salmon. Noodles, not so much.

This sounds about perfect.
Throw in some turnip greens, and it sounds like most of the the meals I ate growing up.

Well.....we never had blue cornbread. I don't think I ever even saw any blue corn meal down here before the 90s.
