I found the right one, but I still do all the cooking. It's better that way, to put it nicely.
Mine can cook, but it takes all day.
Tonight, since she's still working, I cooked pork loin slices and Italian sausage.
A nice girl does not necessarily mean a nice cook... and just in case mine is looking - I got lucky
It seems more and more young people these days can't cook [even basic stuff], and the skills of our parents and their parents, is no longer being handed down... one for the declining standards thread
I hope you do find a nice girl and she can cook Tom
Why would he want someone that can cook him? LOL
Commas are Tom's friend.
The difference between "Let's eat Grandma!" and "Let's eat, Grandma!".
Remember, punctuation saves lives.
Specifically Tom's.
Nice would be one who can cook. Why get married if you have to still do everything?
I am with you Tom, find the right one.

Key word here: "nice" girl. Nice girls know how to cook, nice girl make and mend clothes. And nice girls know how to change a tire. :thumb:Someday, I'll find a nice gal and I'll get decent meals. Til then, I'll just have to eat garbage and hope not to die.
Understood, sir. :nod:Yes ma'am! I'll have seconds too---before the firsts.

..just watch out for "nicely polished" girls - they appear just the same as "nice" girls.. but, oh.. they're so NOT the same thing.
I forgot to mention that one: they STING worse than bees. :deadhorseOh, I know. I've been burned by them my share of times lol
One of my recent crock-pot meals . . . homemade Brunswick Stew.
Understood, sir.
Will you have a pint of cold beer with that?
I'm having microwavable country fried steak on a bun, right now.
You stewed VC Brunswick?! No wonder he hasn't been posting lately.:eeek::eusa_doh: I think I see moustache in there!:eeek:

Hannibal Powers
That makes sense. I liked him too, but apparently Matt likes him better...with peppers and onions.
James let's just say I'm self taught like V.C. Brunswick (RIP), but I've also learned a lot since my grandmother taught me 30yrs ago.
Plus I have a large amount of older cookbooks that have the "old" way of cooking, when nothing was bad for you.
Of course working all day has prompted me to gravitate towards meals I can cook in the Nuwave Oven or Pressure Cooker, because they only take an hour at best.
Tonight it was fajitas at my sisters. Precooked meat from Sams, but free is good. Forgot the hot sauce though dern it.
After a hot day (93 degrees), mowing the front yard, washing the Suburban and the truck, it was kept simple; two turkey sandwiches with pepperjack cheese, tomato, dijon mustard, avacado, and a zesty dill spear while watching UFC 161.
