And out of a can, too. But it's much better than any chili I ever make. Chili is the one thing I cannot make from scratch. It always comes out terrible. It's cheaper to make, but I just buy it now.
It’s all in the timing !
I tried for a year on how to make homemade flour tortillas.
I used only the ingredients as suggested, but they would all turn out hard as frisbees !
Then I tried doing less “kneading" of the dough & afterwards I covered the dough with a slight damp towel
& let it sit for a little bit before making them.
Now I have tortillas soft & so nice tasting...almost as nice as my grandma used to make.
Except afterwards, the kitchen is all a big mess of flour powder all over the walls
& on Polo too !
I do believe sometimes I can hear my grandma laughing at me ...
