I understand these shows need to include elements of romance, but they're so haphazard about it. Why are these people obsessed with each other? When did that happen? And then last night's episode had a huge jump in plot that pretty much came out of nowhere because of one of these unexplained, undeveloped obsessions. This show is similar to Poldark in how it wastes too much time on Teen Beat poster posing moments or riding a horse on a trail or another grandiose carriage arrival at a palace. And then they're following up the episodes with interviews with the creator, crew, and actors. The sales pitch is "she's the most creative person I've ever met" or "she's a genius", and I'm thinking, "That rubber never hits the road."
Hear hear! I like most of the actors who were in Sons and I really wanted to like it, but after three or four episodes I felt like I was watching The Sopranos on bikes and I hated that show so I bailed out. You're watching Sons twice? You're a better man than I am, Gunga Din! Once was once too many for me.

Sons wasn't even 1% of the show The Sopranos was. Sons was that terribly written on every level. The characters. The story and subplots. The dialogue. If Kurt Sutter can get show after show put on TV, that reveals you how poor off the writers' situation is in Hollywood. That guy must have some kind of mesmerizing twinkle in his eye or something. I seriously don't understand how he gets any of his scripts beyond the first interview stage. I watched every moment of this stupidly written show, so what does that say about me? I'll let you decide. I think we Americans are more loyal than smart. Maybe start there with your decision.Hear hear! I think my moment on SOA was when they're chasing after baby Abel on a dock and trying to get to the boat before it leaves. I realized it was basically a soap opera about a biker gang. I watched after that episode but it never was the same.
Right. No idea what you're talking about because I didn't even make it through the fourth episode.I think my moment on SOA was when they're chasing after baby Abel on a dock and trying to get to the boat before it leaves. It took you two full seasons to realize that SOA, like EVERY TV DRAMA EVER MADE, is a soap opera?
Also the fact that this "badass" biker gang had in that particular scene several members wearing sneakers. Smack forehead emoji goes (here) lol
First three episodes of "Perry Mason" - I realize that this is an "origin story" for the man that would become a legal legend, crusader for truth, friend to the wrongfully accused and bane to District Attorney's everywhere so I'm rolling with it. Very good thus far... we're totally engaged and the clothing/sets and music are great. At this stage of my life though, I don't stick to anything unless I'm "all in". I mean ride or die. Last program I did this with drove me to the point of madness when after 10 years of faithful watching I got rewarded with 8 episodes of the worst television I'd ever witnessed. I hope and pray they at least stick the landing with this one.
Worf
Tried this... watched 3 episodes but did NOT feel compelled to keep going... What'd I miss?Longmire, season six, the last. It will be tough to end it, again.
Love this show.
