I don't know where it gained all this popularity, out of the blue. I'm glad it did, though. It's always been my favorite Clint Eastwood movie.

I watched it again a few weeks ago when it was on TV too. It is like Rio Bravo. If its on I am watching it.

The Razor's Edge (1946) on TCM last night with Gene Tierney, Tyrone Power, et al, and nobody can play an effete snob like Clifton Webb.

On television this afternoon: Mosquito Coast (which was truly disturbing, as since the time I saw it years ago I have had my eyes opened to the fact that people like this really exist), and First Knight (Connery makes an excellent Arthur; Gere, creepy and sleazy as ever, a poor Lancelot).
