Impact from 1949 with Brian Donlevy.
Great plot with a wife that tries to kill her husband, but fails.
Do I even need to mention it's a film noir classic?
Really long for back then, darn near 1.5hrs.

Last weekend TCM had several of the best Godzilla movies. I was in heaven; stayed in on a beautiful June day to watch three of them.

I have come to the conclusion that there are a number of undeniable truths. The Germans make great beer; the British great cheeses. The Italians make great shoes and the Japanese are the kings of the monster movie. Forget the CGI. Give me a Japanese guy in a lizard suit ANY DAY

The Adjustment Bureau & Hall Pass - I had no real interest in watching either movie but the selection on the plane was poor so this was the best of the bunch that I hadn't already seen.

The Man Who Would Be King
Sean Connery and Michael Caine directed by John Huston from a story by Rudyard Kipling. I don't know how it could get any better.
One of the all time great high adventure movies.

The Depraved (1957), The Faceless Monster/Nightmare Castle (1965).
Also tried I spit on your corpse, but found it to have really bad acting in it. :)
I'll look for more grindhouse movies in the next few days, if they have half of a plot.
They give me a change from the film noir's I've been watching lately.

30th??? Oh wow... just shoot me :eusa_doh:

I know, I know.

Saw it in the theater first day.

I was also there for the first showing the first day "Star Wars" (when that's all there was to the title!), too, and had been looking forward to it for almost a year.

I feel very depressed right now.
