The last one, IMO, was just awful. I mean, so awful even the handsome countenance of Mark Walberg couldn't keep me from shutting it off!

Ha! You know what though, they're Micheal Bay, so lots of bright primary colors and always the flag flying in a bright blue sky. If I walk in when that part is on, I yell at my girls to 'stand the hell up when the flag is on TV!' They think I'm nuts.

At our occasional movie night with another family we watched Babes in Arms (1939) with Mickey and Judy; dir. Busby Berkeley. Rooney riffing on Clark Gable and Lionel Barrymore is hilarious. We did fast forward through a couple of songs, but still cracked up quite a bit with the hey, kids, let's put on show plot line.

Just watched Interstellar.

So many plotholes, I don't know where to begin (or in fact, if I am just stupid). Why didn't the spaceship just have a big button that said 'FIX EVERYTHING'?

Anne Hathaway always looks so elegant. Even in a big spacesuit. Nice surprise to see Matt Damon pop up as a bad guy. I never liked him in anything except Ripley (and he was a bad guy in that really).
