Last night and the night before both I went to see Raiders of the Lost Ark at the BFI IMAX here in London - the biggest screen in the UK. Wonderful stuff. The film, despite being 31 years old, truly holds up. Sure I can spot one or two ropey effects by today's standards, but they don't matter. It's not that they have "charm", it's that the film relies, at heart, on a great story, great dialogue, and great characters. Limited cinematic run - it appears as a promo for the films coming to BD for the first time, though it has been so poorly promoted that I'd be surprised if more people weren't already aware of the BD release than were of this. Shame - it deserved to be full to the gills. Still.... wonderful stuff.

I saw that listed on TCM but forgot to record it.
I've got some other movies with the two of them together, and they'll be watched in the next few weeks, since they are Hammer Horrors.
I watched the WW II era movie titled "You Came Along" with Robert Cummings and Lizabeth Scott and Don DeVore which had a great song and also some segments with P-38 Lightnings which is my favorite WW II fighter.
1- Braveheart
2- Dead Poets Society
3- 3;10 train to Yuma- with Russell Crowe
I never saw 3;10 train to yuma before today.
The hats in this movie are superrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. A must see for hat lovers an or western movie buffs.
