"Sarah's Key" - A great movie of French collaboration during WWII as seen through the eyes of one Jewish girl who locks her brother in a closet to save him from the Nazi's promising to come back for him. About 20 minutes too long. We could've done without the last couple of scenes, but all in all I give it a B+

The thread about Fonzie's jacket brought to mind this scene from the film.

"Le Havre" What do you get when you mix a Finnish director and a French film? A modern classic. This modern film is strangely vintage and looks that way too with super saturated colors. There are no beautiful people in this beautiful and soulful film. Seek it out Loungers and yee shall enjoy.

P.S. Ignore the synopsis, Casablanca has nothing on this classic.

'Strategic Air Command' with Jimmy Stewart. Incredibly preserved photography of these now ancient aircraft!

Yes, great movie! Love the color footage of the B-36s and B-47s. Jimmy actually checked out on both aircraft as Pilot In Command as a reserve officer in the Air Force. Unlike John Wayne, Jimmy rarely talked the talk, but he sure did walk the walk!
