What makes it funny is I have a copy of The Godfather but I won't watch it.
All these movies you mentioned are great, especially "The Godfather" series. Just finished watching the 2nd Godfather - what a story, what a cast! you must see these movies.

I liked to see Pandora's Box. Very hard to find on DVD unless I buy it. Even Greta Garbo, Jayne Mansfield movies are hard to find here (Aust).

Some I'd like to see (which I'll end up adding because I love watching movies):

Rock n' Roll and Hotrod/car/bike movies:
Hot Rod Gang
Hot Rod Girl
Vanishing Point
Hells Angels
T-Bird Gang
The Girl Can't Help it
The Beatniks
The Beat Generation

Herschell Gordon Lewis:
The Gore-Gore Girls
Something Weird

Swing Dance movies
Hellzapoppin'

other:
Where the Buffalo Roam
Mad Max 1 and 2 (The Road Warrior)

too many to list!

Wow, I guess I've been around too long. I've seen evertything lsited and except for the latest, latest at the cinema right now I've seen everything I can imagine.

I have noticed that Netflix doesn't have them all. I would like to see a 1948 movie with Edmund OBrien called Fighter Squadron again but it's not listed. Probably for sale somewhere, no doubt.

With or with out?

I have missed most of the teenager type horror flicks along the "I Know What you Did Last Summer" type. Also the parody ones, since i haven't seen the originals I figure a parody would be lost on me.

The first 2 bourne movies, saw 3 and was pleasantly surprised at how well it did inspite of not seeing the first two.

There are scads I miss out on but get to see some later as my friends do an "at the movies night" with their home theatre set up on Fridays using their Netflix subscription.

I just don't get to the movies much. Right now i'd like to see No Country, There Will Be Blood, and maybe Cloverfield, but I seldom make the time to go.

I caught part of Die, Die My Darling on TV awhile back, and would love it if they'd show it again so I can see the start of it. It is really campy, starring Tallulah Bankhead and Stephanie Powers, and it is a lot like the movie Hush with Gwyneth Paltrow & Jessica Lange.

It as on yesterday afternoon...

Titanic (the newer one) and its become a source of pride for me.

My wife can't believe it and says she will force me to watch it one day. I tell her I already know how it ends.

Someone once commented the film teaches young girls how romantic it can be to watch the man of your dreams freeze to death in the ocean. :eusa_clap

This is like a list of shame! lol I have yet to watch Citizen Kane all the way through (I've just caught bits on tv). The second Godfather I have yet to watch as well. There are a few cult favorites I have yet to watch as well, like Fargo. I know there's a lot more, but I'm a bit foggy at the moment...

I just saw Casablanca.

I still haven't seen:
Citizen Cane
Dr Strangelove
Frankenstein
From Here to Eternity (all the way through anyway.)
The Maltese Falcon
Cat on a Hot Tin Roof
Giant
Any of the Godfather movies

That's all I can think of for now.
I know there are more.

I just watched "Casablanca" for the first time as well! I picked it up at Barnes & Noble with a gift card I received. I can't believe I waited so long to check it out. At least now I know what everyone was talking about all this time!

I haven't seen Sunrise (1927) by F.W.Murnau. I've read that it is a masterpice, in the same category of 'Citizen Kane', 'Apocalypse Now' and 'Inotolerance'...one of the greatest silent dramas ever made...I'm getting this dvd as soon as i can.

Hmmm . . . What Movies Haven't I Seen?

The Godfather, Part . . . all of them. My recent interest in the Mob was tempting me to see any one of them until I read Divid Fisher's book, Joey the Hitman - The Autobiography of a Mafia killer. (It's an autobiography because Fisher recorded interviews he had with "Joey" and wrote his words in first-person from "Joey's" viewpoint.)

From chapter thirteen, "The Godfather: The Way Things Ain't", paragraph two: "Don't misunderstand me, I liked The Godfather. I thought it was a very entertaining, very funny movie. It was also a wonderful piece of fiction. Things just don't happen in real life like they did to Marlon Brando and family." (Emphasis mine.)

E.T.
Harry Potter, after the first two.
The French Connection
The Italian Job (either one)
Breakfast at Tiffany's
and many, many, many others.

Folks are shocked when I say I have never seen "Fist full of dollars, Good bad and the ugly, any of the Rocky films.

Indeed I could add any Arnold Schwarzenegger films but I saw Running Man the other night, when I was too tired to turn off the telly. The film was one one of those 'so bad it was rather good' films, all for the wrong reasons.

Mind you Maria Conchita Alonso was nice to watch.

I would love to see:

Alone in the Dark (Audrey Hepburn)
All About Eve
Rear Window
Double Indemnity

And when I was a kid, I saw a B&W comedy with Anthony Perkins that I would love to watch again, but I can't for the life of me remember the name. I guess I'll have to spend some time on google :)

And if noone's seen Stage Door (1937) I HIGHLY recommend it. It's a fantastic movie, and how can you go wrong with Lucille Ball, Ginger Rogers and Lauren Bacall?

Have you tried imdb.com? It's the Inernet Movie Data-Base. You can search by movie, by actor/actress, director, whatever. If you go there and type Anthony Perkins in the search box it should give you every movie he's ever done. They are listed in reverse order (newest first) with the dates. If you want to check that you found the right movie, you just click on it, and it will have a synopsis and cast etc.

Good luck!

I recommend Apocalypse Now - "I love the smell of Napalm in the morning"
