What lipcolors work for retro?

I always think reds.I am not even sure what else would work.:0)
I am new here and excited i found this.I will get some pictures soon.
I am always told i have a classic old hollywood look.I have even been called Snow White.LOL
One thing I do know is myself and my husband were born in the wrong era.

Thank you for the links. It seems as though they are all reds. So red is all that was worn? Most pictures i fins are black and white so I can only guess.
