Tom hasn't quite reached Jimmy's level of felt-whisperin', but he's getting eerily close...
The crease that the hat I am currently creasing seems to want to be...Listen to the crown felt & it'll tell you how it wants to be shaped...see the felt, feel the felt, hear the felt, be one with it....

The only bash that I typically don't like, I don't know the name of - it's the type that the new Stetson Open Roads have with a top center den tand a long parallel dent in each side (not just front pinches but length of the crown on each side). Is there a web page out there with pics showing each basic bash and its name?
That hat is one of those I made on a 1550 directional block. We found this set of blocks in New York a while back and I have made 6 hats on them so far, 2 for myself. I really like the way they come out.
