Daniele posted a fabulous long hair Borsa and it prompted me to pull this Locke & Co long hair from it's spot and show it off. This is the most beautiful long hair in my collection but unfortunately it doesn't fit me very well. I wear a size 7, 56cm and can sometimes wear a 57, but not this one.
* I find myself needing to let go of a few of my hats to make room for new finds so I listed this one along with several Borselinos in the classifieds here at TFL.
Last Pic shows all the hats listed lined up in a row just for attention. Lol.

Be safe out there, Nathan, and roll on ‘til you get back home! Good to see that Gannon doing it’s job!

Thanks brother!

I actually had to shut down in the Elk Mountain, WY area due to high winds. 60 mph gusts are too strong even for a wind cord.

In fact, the last time I can remember being hatless was when I was stopped here for four days back in 2021 due to non-stop high winds gusting over 70 mph.

But yeah, not a sight seen often: I am currently not wearing a hat.

<sigh> Life is too short not to have a hat on for it.

What a beautiful hat. Can we see the interior?
Hi Nathan,
The interior is disappointing.
The hat belonged to my father. It had been sitting in a closet for about 25yrs. I did research on it and decided it was worth having it stretched, reblocked and shaped, or whatever it needed. Took it to Peters Bros. and they botched it up. Sent it to Mike Miller and he did a wonderful job, exactly as I requested. Unfortunately, Mike could no longer use the original sweat, but was able to save the liner, which I don’t use because I live in Texas.
The brim is very stiff, but the crown is soft and very receptive to shaping.
I love wearing it. The amount of positive comments I get is almost comical. It may sound silly, but women treat you different. I’m from a small town, and around here most folks are wearing a cowboy hat or a baseball cap.
Mike’s craftmanship is undeniable in person. This hat says, look at me! Haha.
Here is the original sweat and liner.

I'm glad you were able to keep the sweatband and the liner, even if not using them. Important pieces for those famous hats. Looks very nice redone for you.

Woah, very special! Thanks for showing that hat offal. Glad to hear Mike was able to salvage the liner and make the hat wearable for you.

So was the hat given to your dad? That's a darn special hat.
