Today I tried to recreate the iconic hat worn by Major Leslie Hiddins during the abc tv series the Bush Tucker Man 1988-1996. I bash this Akubra sombrero with a kettle and spay bottle of water. I am happy with the results.

For church today, Gamble & Gu-nn's bespoke was my choice, well to be honest, Tina loves the hat and

Thank you Stefan, we took the old MG along to a classic car show after we left the church. It had been a glorious morning, but the afternoon was dull and dismal with a shower or two. What a shame, all that planning and effort by the organisers, but you can't plan for the weather.

Time for my favorite mutt hat of all times today. Cute little Royal Stetson with reddish brown felt and a green ribbon and brim binding. When it got here it was crushed with paint splatters... its come a long way
