What Hat Are You Wearing Today ?

[Blare]

Stetson Bantam Air Light is doing it for me today. Late 30's or early 40's with Lot #7102. Until this one came to me I had never laid eyes on a Stetson size tag like this. The colors at the pond are close to peaked. Glad I could be here for it this year.
To keep with the earthy sense of Autumn, here’s a Borsalino Alessandra thin ribbon today.

Yesterday… I did not (could not) finish this “medium sized” ice cream wearing the same hat.

A man has to know his limits.
Have a safe weekend!

That Borsa is a beauty, Charlie!!!!

Headed to a rafting trip with the fam in the HJ Poet Indy Raiders hat. This one was originally a Temple hat and I asked Sam to reshape it for me. I love this hat.

This is my current candidate for a daily driver felt. It will not be getting in the river with me. I couldn’t find a hat I was willing to potentially lose.

I keep a Tully on hand at all times for wilderness outtings. It was also my work hat when I was flatbedding this summer and required hours in the sun to secure a load.

Not a popular hat around here and not nearly as much fun as a HJ poet, but it serves its purpose very well. Here's an old photo of it on the Appalachian Trail a few years back. These things float and they are a dimensional brim!

Beautiful Poet, BTW. What river will you be on today?

Edit: sorry the hat is a Tilley. I am getting old...

Dobbs Fifteen from Toepfer and Bellack in Milwaukee.

I was meant to be back on the road this weekend, but the company didn't get me a load so I am still at home.

My wallet isn't happy but I'll never complain about having more time with my family - or with my hats!

Panizza Castorino on a sunny autumnal day in Elsinore.

I've been having fun catching up on all the hats I missed during my FL exile. This place is still the best for hats.
