I'm constantly amazed at how many small hat brands there were back in the hey-day of hat wearing. This new to me Natley Hat of Distinction rivals most Stratoliner or Open Road out there. It just arrived moments ago and all I did was give it a good brushing and bashed the hat the way I like 'em.

Happy friday to all! It’s gloomy, grey and damp but it IS Friday... we survived another week. Hadnt had the Akubra Lightning Ridge out for a while so here we go. Stetson Sovereign Twenty. It was a Christmas present from my wife a couple of years ago. Of all the hats I own, this is probably my favorite (if a favorite is possible).

It's funny you say that... I just got the hat in today. It came with a faux leather band that I promptly removed. The band in the pics is one of a couple of temporary bands I've made for just such occasions. When I put it on, it kinda surprised me with how well the ribbon color worked. I think I will make a permanent one from the same ribbon.
Also, the ribbon is a bit of a chameleon - It's an olive color in person, but usually looks brown or dark grey in pictures.

Oh yeah, that one definitely works. I can see some of the olive trying to show itself in the picture of it on your head. That's what I was looking at when I posted. I have a similar Canada Biltmore Senator, but in Gray and black. I'll post a picture of it when I wear it next. Yours looks a lot richer than mine, though.
