It was a limited collection made for R&RC. Not in production anymore. Sold at Strandhatters in Sydney at that time.

Grey dull sky with rain expected .... Lets brighten up the morning! A nice loud shirt and a silverbelly should do the trick. This one a nice 2-3/4" flat brim 4x Open Road. This little hat gets worn a lot and Im thinkng it need a good cleaning soon

Hat #2 of Stefan’s mystery care box for Springtime Stingymas Beautiful long hair felt by Beaver Hats. All this one needed was a good brushing to align the fibers. (A bit of steam might have them lay down a tad more). The ribbon is in an almost matching color… but shows a tinge of rose in some lights. There are Several tiny moth nips that are almost obligatory on this kind of finish.. but nothing significant and hide themselves pretty well. Thanks again to Stefan… It is a Beautiful hat that is perfect for this second day of StingyMas in Springtime.

Thank you Stefan. As much as we all tend to grow to prefer a bit wider brims as we go along. I always have a soft spot for these shorter brimmed beauties.

I went on a caffeine run first thing this morning under a Gannon Highwayman,

and I ran into either Kill Bill or the Karate Kid.

Knowing both my Milliner and Cordwainer, my lady treated me to both the hat and shoes. The hat is bespoke, but they do sell ready made too. https://gambleandgunn.com/ The Cordwainer, one Colin Johnson, I have known for many years, https://www.colinjohnsonshoes.com/ he told me that the grey coloured leather is not that easy to source. I love the shoes he made, you won't find them on his website, being bespoke he made them as a special to compliment the hat.
