What an exquisite hat Steve. You have the perfect shade of green, a real beauty, compliments to you.
Your hat caught my attention as I was just keeping up to date with the hat thread whilst waiting for the lady.

Today, I too, am going green. It's one of the first bespoke hats that I had made by the now defunct Susquehana Hat Co. It compliments the shirt and vest that Tina made.
Enjoy your weekend Loungers.

Cool front pushing through this morning. Weather heads said 80%+ chance of rain and thunder today.... Lets see if I can get to the coffee shop and back without soaking the old Towncraft. (The 80% is coming down right now so I dont hold out much hope lol)

Tks.
They are both vintage, the hat is dated 1964 and the suit is a bespoke piece from the late 60s/early 70s
Ok. Thanks for that. Tailor did a great job. Am I correct ti assume there is some latin flare in the design?

It is the look I am trying to track down. It according to ChatGPT more 1930s to 1940s though did I pick up flare trousers?

The trousers are indeed slightly flared. The overall styling feels more 30/40s than the usual 1970s retro style, perhaps it was made by an older taylor.... the suit was made in São Paulo, Brazil

The jacket back has a center pleat instead of a vent
