I fully expect it to be striking! Thanks Rick, time was the lady would have started and finished it over a couple of days, now I have learned to be patient. She will get there and I will proudly show it off.

is that a BLUE Bogart?
Yes it isis that a BLUE Bogart?
Nice. I like that style. What's the brim width on that one?Hales and Hunter (Beaver Hats/Langenberg). The brim on this one was getting a bit wonky. Decided it needed a whole new attitude.

Another Sunday of treasures! Hard to make choices this week! I'm going with the Qualita Speciale Dresda as #1, the Dunn & Co as #2, and a tie between the Brummel's and the Cambiaghi as #3. Thank you, as always, Stefan, for brightening our Sunday!Sunday again, so it's time for the hats of the week.

You're looking splendiferous, Robert, and I am already dazzled by the shirt-in-a-bag!Such a selection, twice I had selected and then changed my mind. You do make Sundays something else Stefan.

In the end I plumbed for the Tress & Co. The reason, irrational though it seems, I'm into grey at present.
After church I am taking Tina to lunch at a watering hole called The New Queen Inn. It's a tad special and not easy to get a table, so, being into grey, Gamble & Gunn did me proud when they made this one for me.

Did I say that I was into grey? What do you think of my new shirt?
I know it's not a shirt, Tina hasn't worked her magic yet, use your imagination.

Today a Mossant that I have had on my waiting list for a long time and closes these first two months of 2025 on the purchase side.

I was attracted by the heather felt. The color is a mix of autumnal tones
View attachment 689425
The felt is soft and finished with a short fur.
Size is 59 cm. or 7 3/8 in the US. Colour of the felt is "Chinè Tanagra"

Light and well preserved it is, unfortunately, a repeat of a hat that I already have.
I had forgotten about its twin brother
Very nice combo, Rick! With the passing of the storm system it actually chilled down some overnight... 45 deg this morning. Guess its jacket time for coffee....
