Champ De Luxe. This a very chameleonic felt. Shifts from green to brown/tan to grey/taupe. Quite the color shifter. With all that going on I went the entirely opposite direction for shirt color To be safe.
Oh.My.God! Stefan, you may have actually sprained my brain this week. Some of these colors are BEYOND staggeringly phenomenal. First place goes to the Barbisio Qualità speciale dresda. Second to the Peschel, and third to the Morreton Velrex bleu. EACH of my choices was determined by those MAGNIFICENT colors! (Can you tell I'm excited by your color choices this week?!?And it's another Sunday. Let's see what hats were on duty.

Gary, this does NOT sound like the greatest of journeys! Sending prayers and positive thoughts for your quick and complete recovery.Been away for a while. Three nights in Melbourne, two in an airplane with 73screamingvomiting kids. My Acorn Fawn Stylemaster took the trip with me. The vomiting began with one kid on day one in Australia (not the flight). It hit its peak on the last day. One in the bus, and continuing on the flight home, and another two on the flight.
The photos are taken in front of the Puffing Billy small gauge steam engine. Our failure to get the students to take motion sickness medicine before riding likely contributed to the problems.

Sleep deprivation, both in Australia, and especially on the flight home have made me the latest to succumb. I’ve been on water and “Oral Rehydration Solution” all day, as I’m unable to hold anything else down. Also struggling with headaches and stiffness.
That said, the hats I’ve been catching up on on this thread have offered some respite. There have been some truly magnificent offerings, and quite a few that I’d like to comment on individually, but with this brain fuzz, I don’t really feel up to it.
Oh, my word! What an absolutely STUNNING shade of blue, Don!!!!

Grazie, Daniele. Hard to beat that one, it's true. This is the king of the scene today, without a shadow of a doubt. The other hats are the king's court.
Congratulations and thank you Stefan for the documented history of the hatter and his lineage.
That is one fabulous hat, Greg. Glorious in the sunlight.
Excellent hat, Joe, just keep it away from shifting to greenChamp De Luxe. This a very chameleonic felt. Shifts from green to brown/tan to grey/taupe. Quite the color shifter. With all that going on I went the entirely opposite direction for shirt color To be safe.

I’m sure all the parents agree that you deserve a medal for this harrowing adventure! Very sharp looking hat!
Thanks, guys. Despite all that, it was a really enjoyable trip. I’ve now had two good nights’ sleep, as well as plenty of sleep during the day yesterday. I’m pretty hopeful that I can keep more than one egg and two bottles of rehydration solution down today. I haven’t attempted any solids this morning, but I have a feeling that I will do okay.Gary, this does NOT sound like the greatest of journeys! Thank you Mark, I passed your compliment onto my talented lady, (she made the shirt and trousers,) she whispered: "Tell him thank you."ALWAYS a phenomenal ensemble, Robert!
Like this toy-like 5MPH helmet, my Magic 8 Ball must’ve been made by HAS, bro. Always comes up, “sell bike, buy more fedoras.”The Magic 8 Ball says…. While I much prefer your look in a fedora. I’m glad you trade it in for one of much more protection when you get on that horse.
Another nice brim with binding AND stitches!Champ De Luxe. This a very chameleonic felt. Shifts from green to brown/tan to grey/taupe. Quite the color shifter. With all that going on I went the entirely opposite direction for shirt color To be safe.

Thank you, Don. I’m lucky to have it.Magnificent!
Magnificent!
Lookin' gooooood! And this is EXCELLENT news, Nathan!Once again I am behind on this thread.
But I have a really good reason!
This past Monday I rented a car and set out on my first road trip in the US since 2022. I drove alone from Alabama to southwestern Oklahoma to visit family. I just made it back home a few hours ago.
It was an excellent test of my health and I did really well. I still have some brain fog issues but the vertigo is almost non-existent now and I felt sharp and alert all the time I was driving.
Could be the Gannon was helping me see things clearly. This was his first road trip as well.... I think he's just as ready to get to work as I am!
These photos are from earlier in the week, but it was the Gannon the whole way.
Have a great start to your work week, friends.
