Stefan, Thank you! Beautiful series of hats from you. If I had to pick one, it would be the Fléchet Velours!Magnificent hat, Steve. It oozes distinction.

Nathan, Thanks! I found an AI based software that reads old German handwriting (works fairly well) but it had a very hard time with this postcard.Great hat!
But whoever wrote the postcard must be a medical doctor... that handwriting! :O
Your hat collection is not chopped liver in my opinionI don’t usually comment on your posts, Vic. They always inspire and i admire from afar.
If i could wish 1 post here, i would wish to see what you consider your top 10 hats.
Thanks for your posts of fine felt.

Really nice, Steve.R. & M. Wenger "Elasticon", possibly later 1920s and a recent arrival.

Great score and an awesome look for you. Pendleton shirts are great, and from the PNW. My wife just got me a wool Pendleton flannel shirt for our anniversary a couple weeks ago. Thanks, Voo.
I learnt of Pendleton shirts from Perry @hatophile’s posts. Then I happened across one going really (really, really) cheap at a discount store. I got the shirt and a pair of Clarks Wallabees for less than $100. It’s the only one I’ve ever seen in Japan. Just got lucky with that one.
A+ on the shirt!!!Foggy and warmish this morning. Got a couple more un-cold days before winter comes back so its time to hang up the jackets and bring out the short sleeves for a bit. Today Im heading out with a Sovereign Temple in Mink
