Mark, Thank you! That is INCREDIBLY striking!!
The Borsalino brotherhood eagerly awaits all your great finds, Don.
Sounds like a wonderful field trip, Robert. Enjoy!
Thank you Gentlemen, much appreciated. The hat and blazer were both well received when we went to The Haunch in Salisbury yesterday. The Hat Shop damaged my wealth somewhat, but you will have to wait to see why. On the subject of my depleting wealth, Tina spent enough in Franklin's to push their stock price up a notch or three, and The Haunch pub, what a fabulous place, but they had a share of my fast diminishing cash too. Such is life!Lookin awesome, as always, Robert!
Summoning one is hard work!I thought it was a euphemism until I saw the hat, Jim
Now that's a demon we all should have.
Magnificent hat, Steve. It oozes distinction.Brüder Böhm Velour, possibly late 1920s early 1930s. This Velour was made for the French market. I found it back in 2010.
Brüder Böhm Wien Postcard (April 8, 1918) I picked this one up recently. It was sent to a hat store owner (Franz Hatzer) in Mamberg, Böhmen, Austria (today Vamberk, Bohemia, Czech Republic). Found this postcard back in 2012.
Better sit up straight then! It's a beauty, Joe.Here comes the Flagship.

Now that is a headturner, Reggie. Great style and a cool idea to put a shark gill bow on it.Saturday Optimo Lords View attachment 678503 View attachment 678504
It's all for a good cause, Robert. That cloth is just one step away from covering your frame and after Tina's magic will look as splendid as you do today.Thank you Gentlemen, much appreciated. A tad more formal for church this morning, then I am being dragged around the supermarket for our provision shop. If this sunshine keeps up I might wake the old MG up later and see if we can find somewhere for afternoon tea.
The Fléchet….no, the Portis…hang on, I like that Barbisio…heck, the Borsalino is no slouch. I can’t choose, but those are the top four in my book, but I’d be thrilled to have the others in my collection.Sunday is here again and so are the hats of the week.
