This morning I'm proud to show y'all one of my latest acquisitions. Much like yesterday's hat, this is another of those " rare as hens' teeth" hats that I felt lucky to find. Demon Hanover made by Hoyt Hat Company in Danbury, Connecticut. There are some moth nibbles here & there but nothing that would stop me from wearing & enjoying this lid.

Yes, I feel like I hit the lottery or something ! I've been searching for BOTH of these hats for a year or more and had almost given up hope of finding either.

Day of changeable weather.

Leaden morning with rain on the way, midday strong wind and autumn sun with raining leaves.
I dusted off this Borsalino Qualità Extra Ssuperiore Amiata color and Goraita hat type

Lunch with the family in a neighborhood trattoria, a ballroom once in the sixties of the Veronese musical groups

The hat is an atypical Borsalino (for flat brims) sold in Italy probably in the late fifties early sixties
