Hi Gary, Thanks for the compliment. The ribbon is black. BUT, the fellow that I bought it from confessed that it was brown and he colored over it with a black marker! This one will NOT be going out in the rain until it gets a new ribbon.

J. Hückel´s Söhne "Flexible" "Rauh" possibly later 1930s. The light weight Rauh / Rough finish mélange felt is fantastic. The hand is very soft with not much nap. The overall condition is great. I found this Soft Felt back in 2020.
