See what I mean about you being a handsome looking fella, Nathan.

Damn, I need to change my style to catch the ladies!

Lol, thanks brother, but I never think of myself that way. I’m actually pretty shy around ladies.

Besides, I don’t think you’re hurting in the style department, anyway. I think you just live in a society where people don’t talk to strangers. Come down here to the Deep South with your style and ladies will be stopping you in the street to compliment you - and I’m not joking about that! I love Northern Europe but dang if they aren’t some cold people.

Those kinds of hats often prove to be very special, simply because they're such terrific, reliable, workhorses.

Yes, I agree - and this 8X is holding up to some persistent abuse!

P. & C. Habig Wien, Special Zefir, possibly early to mid 1950s. Specially made for Carl Kellner, Hamburg, Germany. This Soft Felt has an interesting Form and Bow design. The Felt is light in weight and very pliable. I found this Soft Felt back in 2013.

You just have to know how to warm them up, Nathan

The Danes have a similar sense of humour to the Brits. So I roll on that :)

Great hat and accoutrement!

And I love that phrase “extra angefertigt” on the sweatband. I’m not sure how to translate it (I want to say “specially finished” ie, finished more remarkably than normal - but I wonder if it doesn’t mean “specially produced”, ie, a special order?) The phrase really rolls off the tongue, though.

Extraordinary, for sure (another great German word: aussergewoenlich!). Thanks as always for sharing your wonderful collection!
