The photos straight out of the box in the Hornskov thread were fantastic, Simeon. The on the head shots just confirm what a superb Hornskov that is.Normally I would be wearing one of my straws in nearly 100 degree temps, but I'm wearing my new pure beaver Hornskov Walker. I'm not really out in the heat though, mostly hanging out inside in the air conditioning except for running out to the grill.

Thank you, Robert. I like the summer look of your outfit today; gives me hope we might still actually get some summer over here.View attachment 625610
Love that Boater Bill, and I love the trousers too.

Knox Twentyfive. So hard to choose Stefan, the Knox simply because it would have replaced my bespoke choice for church this morning.

Love the whole look, Bill.
Thank you, sir! Peter did a great job.The photos straight out of the box in the Hornskov thread were fantastic, Simeon. The on the head shots just confirm what a superb Hornskov that is.
Sure looks good on you. Congrats!
That’s a beauty! I don’t generally like back bows but that one is something else…"Gloria" "EMS", Wool Back Bow possibly later 1920s early 1930s. This Wool Soft Felt came with a Excelsior crease clip and the original hat shop bag (H. Moeller Marburg). The felt (Ferrum) and ribbon (Veilchen) colors are interesting (both Violets). Same with the felt finish and hand (very malleable). I found this Wool Soft Felt back in 2015.
H. Moeller Marburg Hat Shop bag that this Wool Soft Felt was stored in for a very long time.
Soft and Stiff Felt Hats have no Company Mark and the same Paper Label type. The mystery company had to be on the level of Berlin Gubener Hutfabrik.

David, Thank you! The back bow still has basting stitches so it lies flat. This is a big hat but not overly heavy. That’s a beauty! I don’t generally like back bows but that one is something else…
Thanks!That Gloria is glorious!
The heat remains, another triple digit day. Wearing my Stetson USFS straw this afternoon.

Yeah it's nice to still see some snow on Mt Hood, though much of it will melt in the next couple months. There are still a few glaciers left up there but perhaps not for too many more years. At least you still have snow on the mountain peak. What mountain is that? Nothing more disheartening in summer than driving past the Colorado on I-80 and seeing nothing but bare mountain tops. I hate it.
Wonderful Stetson, by the way - and your beard looks fantastic!
