That Borsalino that got wet wins it for me. I know it’s ok to get it wet, but if I owned such a hat, I just couldn’t let it happen.
Thanks, Gary. It's not something I go looking for so to speak. When it's sure to rain I usually go for the somewhat lesser hats, but if it does happen the hats can take it.

Good morning. I wore a Gannon Beachcomer (inspired by the Stetson of said name) for my morning soirée. The bone hued felt and ribbon and brim work is dynamite.
Home I got myself some cold brewed coffee and spent quality deck time under a Stetson Beachcomer (silverbelly). This is the hat that inspired the Gannon commission.

Some light yard work in a Stetson Whippet. The original receipt from the Raleigh Haberdashery shows the price to be $11.00. An excellent price for this sage hued felt fedora.
