Out early this morning in the rain, I grabbed the JBS 25. An exceptionally easy-wearing hat, he’s still on my head at midday.

It looks like a year or so since I last posted, and I was wearing this same hat.

Art Fawcett made this for me. Over the years, it has seen a lot of use and is still going strong.

I texted him, then he asked about my hat. At least he had
heard of The Fedora. I might just treat him on his birthday,

Echter Borsalino " Gatesan" possibly mid to later 1930s. Hard to find these older Echter Borsalino Soft Felts and this one is fantastic. The color is Magano / Mahogany. I found this Soft Felt back in 2010.

This morning I decided to wear my new to me "The Dallas" by Mallory. Everything I have read about these hats says the felt molds like clay and this one is no different. While not a perfect specimen by any means I still love it warts and all.

Last night work escapades found me sport'n a Stetson Flagship. The blue felted fedora garnered plenty of attention and comments.

I selected a homburg for my brisk windy morning soirée. The blue homburg stayed put. It is minty and I enjoyed seeing my reflection.
