I wore shorts in Asia all the time as well until I contracted dengue fever (mosquito transmitted). Now I cover up when I’m over there - dengue fever is no joke. I don’t know if the Caribbean has that?

Yep. I had it twice. Second time knocked me out for 2 weeks. I would not want it again. They say it gets worse each time.

This morning I chose another one of my light weight hats. This time the Dunlap " Wanderer ". I really like the color combination on this one as well as the frayed ribbon on the hatband.

Yeah that’s what I understand as well. Too bad to hear it’s in the Caribbean, but of course it makes sense.

I had another one called Chikungunya as well - kind of like dengue light, but still pretty nasty.
