Nice!! I am going to visit Denmark (south) in June of this year. I hope the weather will be better then!Ca. 1940s Sools sold Borsalino on a very cold and grey April day. We're still waiting for spring to arrive here in Denmark. It's way behind schedule.

It ought to be, Marcel, but you never really know here.Nice!! I am going to visit Denmark (south) in June of this year. I hope the weather will be bether then!

Where exactly are you visiting?
Just slightly north from the border with Germany.Between Kollund and Sonderhav.....Do you know that?
Wonderful colour, shape, look to the felt, brim binding, plus ribbon and bow treatment, Steve.Borchert Berlin W., date stamped August 6, 1952. I found this hat back in 2011 and I have always enjoyed wearing it. I am not sure who made this hat for Borchert. C.W. Borchert goes way back and they change locations after WWII.
Borchert Berlin W. carton that came with another hat from the same time period. I really like the Borchert Berlin W. logo.
Cool, they even have the “W” after Berlin (for “West”, I assume). I’m sure that was normal but I never thought about it as part of a formal address.Borchert Berlin W., date stamped August 6, 1952. Berlin addresses are something akin to addresses in London, Nathan. They have the compass directions of north, south, east, and west, plus all directions inbetween.Cool, they even have the “W” after Berlin (for “West”, I assume). Great looking hat, your collection is fascinating!
I read this is a reference to “West Berlin” during the Cold War, but that’s an assumption. I had an address in Berlin at one time, but it was so long ago that I can’t even remember if it had a direction included.Berlin addresses are something akin to addresses in London, Nathan. Nathan, if you had put that on for the first time and NOT been smitten, we'd be worried about your mental health!New-to-me 1950s (I believe) Stetson 7X CB. Just in time for TAR Tuesday.
More on the 7X thread (which is worth reading if you haven’t done so!).
